The Life I Now Live
The unexamined life is not worth living. -Socrates
Early philosophers spent long days dissecting the question, “What’s the meaning of life?” These famous thinkers instinctively understood that each one of us has a reason to be here, and we shouldn’t squander our time.
Throughout the Bible, God says He has a purpose, and you are a significant part of it. The Creator wants to work through you to bless others! It’s almost too amazing to grasp.
So if that’s your purpose, are you fulfilling it? If you don’t know, look at the things and people that take up most of your time and you’ll find your priorities, your values, and, ultimately, your beliefs. You might be surprised at where you are putting your faith.
The apostle Paul proclaimed, “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” It’s a lofty statement, but one that Paul certainly embodied. He gave up his standing as a respected religious leader as well as the comforts of home and freedom, and traveled the world proclaiming the Gospel. He understood his purpose, embraced it, and lived it single-mindedly.
So, how did Paul do it? Stuart Briscoe explores that question in this 5-message series by looking deeper into Galatians 2:20, and he shares five secrets of Paul's successful life.
